Obituary For Kathy Furda

Kathy Furda, 76, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 23, 2023 with her family at her side. She was born on August 5, 1946 in Canton, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert Glenn and Clara Pearl Slates Pyles. She was a member of Wintersville U.M. Church; Prime Time; and Classic Glass Corvette Club of New Philadelphia for over twenty years. Kathy was a 1964 graduate of Wintersville High School.

Kathy loved being a grandma, scrapbooking and traveling, having visited 48 of the 50 states.

Kathy is survived by her husband Daniel Furda, whom she married on November 26, 1966; two daughters Danya Furda and her husband, James Pinkham and Dana (John) Koehl and their children Makenna and Ian; and her brother Roger G. Pyles.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday, March 5, from 2-4 p.m. Funeral services at Wintersville U.M. Church on Monday, March 6, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Clint Quillen officiating. (Visitation one half hour prior to services)

Entombment at Fort Steuben

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Southern Care Hospice, 100 Welday St., Suite G, Wintersville, OH 43953
