Obituary For Kathryn S. "Midge" Pownall

Kathryn S. “Midge” Pownall, 75, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Trinity West. She was born March 2, 1937 in Steubenville a daughter of the late Mele & Mildred Prica Vojvodich. She attended Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church and was a member of Wintersville Womans Club. In addition to her parents, Midge was preceded in death by her brothers Mele & Walter “Bud” Vojvodich and sister Nancy Bonnell. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry Pownall, Sr.; two children  Larry (Jody) Pownall, Jr. & Leigh Ann Pownall both of Wintersville; grandchildren Katlin Pownall and Thomas & Matthew Hutter; sister Mildred Vojvodich of Wintersville and two brothers George (Debby) Vojvodich of Bradenton, FL & Melvin (Fern) Vojvodich of Minnesota and her favorite puppy Haleigh.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services at 4 p.m. with Very Rev. Rade Merick officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
