Kathryn A. Larkin, 88, of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at her residence. She was born March 13, 1918 in Steubenville a daughter of the late Bernard A. and Ruth Merrill Fenske. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church; C.W.C.; Catholic Daughters of America; Ancient Order of Hibernians Ladies Auxiliary; and a 1936 graduate of Catholic Central. Preceding Kathryn in death were her husband Thomas J. Larkin on January 11, 1999; sons Capt. Thomas J. Larkin II and Patrick Michael Larkin; and sister Margaret Humpe. Surviving are her daughter Leslie Larkin Cooney of Coral Springs, FL; two granddaughters Kelly L. Cooney (Joshua) Schwartz of Atlanta, GA and Lauren E. Cooney of Gainesville, FL; great grandson John Thomas Schwartz; sister Olive Pierro of Steubenville; and very close family friends Camille L. Worsnop and Diana K. Hofsommer.
