Obituary For Kathleen Trimby

Kathleen Trimby, 83, of Arden, NC, formerly of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. She was born July 3, 1925 in Moundsville, WV a daughter of the late Carl W. and Gertrude L. Dowler Parks. She was the retired first director of Jefferson County Office on Aging and a former instructor at Steubenville School of Cosmetology. Kay was a member of the former LaBelle View U.M. Church; U.M. Women and attended Wintersville U.M. Church; and LaBelle Chapter 414 Order of Eastern Star.Surviving are her husband Charles H. Trimby; son Gary (Cathy) Trimby of Arden; daughter Sharon (Tim) Snow of Huntsville, TX; five grandchildren Alyssa & Nicholas Trimby and John, Rebakah & Connie Reed; and brother Dale (Belma Jean) Parks of Moundsville.Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, on Sunday from noon - 3 p.m. where services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday with Pastor Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport, OH.Memorials may be directed to Valley Hospice, Inc., 380 Summit Ave., Steubenville, OH 43952.

    My condolences to the Trimby family. I believe I went to at least elementary school with Gary, and when I was informed of Mrs Trimby's passing, wanted to express my sympathies. I hope you will all fair well in this time of sadness.
