Kathleen A. “Kay” Madison, 62, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Monday, October 23, 2006 at her residence. She was born March 22, 1944 in Presque Isle, Maine. Kay was the owner and operator of the former Westpoint Laundromat in Wintersville. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Preceding Kay in death were her mother Gertrude Page Thompson and mother-in-law Nellie A. Madison. Surviving are her husband David W. Madison; son David W. Madison, Jr. of Dayton; daughter Cheryl A. Madison of Gahanna; two grandsons Michael Madison & Brandon Wellman; father Walter B. Thompson; siblings James (Joanne) Thompson, Michael (Sheila) Thompson, Alma (Benjamin) Fogg & Flora (Stanley) McCorrison all of Maine and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Thursday 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Church with Rev. Richard J. Tuttle officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Vigil service 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be directed to the Jefferson County Unit of the American Cancer Society.
