Obituary For Katheryn E. Vandeborne

Katheryn E. Vandeborne, 73, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Monday, May 7, 2007 at Wheeling Park Hospital. She was born December 18, 1933 in Hardeman, Tennessee a daughter of the late George and Marie Brumett Homol. Katheryn was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a social member of FOP Lodge #97. She was a former operator for General Electric Telephone . Preceding Katheryn in death were her husband Louis Vandeborne on April 8, 1994 and three brothers. Surviving are her son Louis (Renee) Vandeborne II of Wintersville, OH; daughter Kimberly (Vernon) Jackson of Steubenville, OH; five grandchildren Justin and Miranda Nicholson, Vernon Jackson, Austin and Kacie Vandeborne; brother Steve Homol of Iva, SC and two sisters Mary Ann (Donald) Kontra of Glendale, AZ and Carol (Wayne) Jones of Atlanta, GA. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held Friday 11:30 a.m. with Msgr. Gerald Calovini officiating. Burial at Holly Memorial Gardens.

Our deepest sympathy to you both. We have known you two for most of your lifes and your entire family for many years. There were times Louis, we had our doubts how you would "turn out". You and Chris were terrors. Your Mom and Dad did a great job, both you and Kim are fine young adults. It will take time for the big heart ache to lessen but you both are strong.
