Katherine L. “Katie” Trbovich, 91, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Lancia Villa Royale. She was born June 18, 1928 in Steubenville, a daughter of the late Theodore & Mildred Levjnich Krnich. Katie was a member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church and a 1946 graduate of Steubenville High School. Preceding Katie in death were her husband Mele “Chill” Trbovich; children Mark “Pep” Trbovich & Debbie Battistel; siblings Peter & Milan Krnich, Sophia Kotur, Sarah Carducci & Jean Ferrell.
Katie is survived by her son Steve (Ruth) Trbovich of Toronto, Ohio; grandsons Bernie (Julia) Battistel, Mark Battistel, Steve (Jenni) Trbovich & Joe Trbovich.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, all services are private.
Rev. Stefan Djoric officiated and burial followed at Union Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Charity Hospice.
