Obituary For Karen S. Morrison

Karen S. Morrison, 79 of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian. She was born on October 2, 1946, a daughter of the late Ernest “Bud” and Myrtle Sargeant Baker. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a retired secretary from Steubenville High School.

Karen was preceded in death by her daughter Ann E. Morrison; siblings Phyllis Alinkas & Donnie Baker.

Karen is survived by her husband, Donald R. Morrison; sons Matthew (Melissa) Morrison and Gerald “Gerry” Morrison; and four grandchildren, Lynsey, McKenzie, Lucy & Hank.

Friends may call at Grace Lutheran Church, 2105 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, Ohio, on Thursday from 9:30 – 11 a.m. services with Rev. Michael Heckathorn officiating.

    Butch and sons.. I am so sorry for another loss in your lives. It has been some time since I saw Karen but I do remember when you first moved here and we became friends with her and Ann. I always like Karen, she was kind and sweet and soft spoken as was Ann. I know you will always miss her terribly and I am praying for you all. May Karen rest in the hands of Our Lord. Kathy Corsi

    Aunt Karen was truly one of the kindest, most generous and loving people. She wasn't just my aunt- she was one of my favorite people and I will always treasure the time we spent together. She had such a beautiful soul and a way of making everyone around her feel loved and welcomed. While my heart is broken, I find comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the Loving arms of our heavenly father. I can only imagine the joyful reunion as she is welcomed home by her mom, dad, sister, brother and especially her beloved daughter Ann. Aunt Karen's love, warmth and gentle spirit will remain in my heart forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered until we meet again Aunt Karen, may you rest in eternal peace.
