To June's family and friends, please accept my sincere condolences. My late sister, Luella Riddle Stanko, was close friends with June. Lu and her husband Andy had lived in Wintersville until relocating to Lu's family home in North Carolina in 1980. Although I never met June (I live in Graham, NC), I talked with her occasionally keeping her abreast of my sister's condition when Lu had trouble talking on the phone. June's calls, cards and letters were a great comfort to Lu during her long struggle -- Lu passed on 9/03/19. Rest in Peace kind lady!!

So sad to learn of June´s passing. I am praying for June´s family and friends. June was a wonderful women who blessed others, especially with her sewing talents. She helped teach my Dad (Bob) to sew which he did for many years for various projects. She also made the bridesmaids dresses for my wedding over 30 years ago. I am grateful to have known her and been blessed by her kindness and talents.

June always greeted many with open arms and a beautiful smile. Her warm and caring heart was certainly one of her most beautiful traits. I never knew that she was related to Orega Yanik, who I worked with at (then) the Union Bank in Steubenville, Ohio. Now I know why I was so attracted to Orega, because she, too, has the same traits as her lovely sister, June. May June's memories be forever eternal.
