June Bowers Thompson 73 of Steubenville, Ohio died Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born in Holiday's Cove, WV on May 12, 1929 a daughter of the late Wilson F. and Juliana Kollarik Bowers. June was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Steubenville, the church Altar Guild and Woman's Club of Steubenville Community Affairs Dept. She was retired from Ohio Bell as a marketing representative. Surviving are her husband Charles E. "Chuck" Thompson; one son Charles K. (Kim) Thompson of Granada Hills, CA; two grandsons Taylor and Hunter Thompson; her mother-in-law Joanna Thompson of Toronto, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9. Services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church on Friday 11 a.m. with Pastor Bethel Bateson officiating. Visitation one hour prior at church. Burial at Union Cemetery, Steubenville, Ohio.
