Julia R. Hayes 51 of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Trinity West after a long battle with kidney disease. She was born in Washington, PA on July 26, 1952 a daughter of the late Harold Brautigam and Rosemarie Charlier Brautigam, who survives of Rayland, Ohio. Julia was a cosmetologist and attended Muskingum Area Technical College forestry program. She was also preceded in death by a niece Casey Brautigam. Julia is survived by her daughters Jennifer (Paul) Barney of Wellsville, OH and Stephanie (Brock) Taylor of Cheboygan, MI, brother Harold “Chip” (Laurie) Brautigam of Bradford, PA, sisters Belinda Julian of Mt. Pleasant, OH and Stacy (Joe) Bottegal of Steubenville, OH, grandchildren Dakota Reed and Spencer Barney. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Friday from NOON until the time of service at 3p.m. with Pastor Jason Elliott officiating.
