Judith Ann “Judy” Britton 55 of Suwanee, Georgia, formerly of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Monday evening, April 19, 2004 at Northside Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia. She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on February 3, 1949. Judy was employed by Fulton County School System for nine years as a school bus driver. She was preceded in death by her father Wilbert Swisher and a brother Jimmy Swisher. Surviving are her husband of 36 years Edward J. Britton; son George Britton and daughter Robyn Pawlus both of Elyria, Ohio, mother Marjorie Peck Swisher of Mingo Junction; sister Susan (Tommy) Akin of Cumming, Georgia; brother Gary (Nadya) Swisher of Pennsylvania and eight grandchildren Samantha Britton of Suwanee, Georgia, Sarah, Steven and Abigal Pawlus, Sabrina, Patricia and Shauna McCune and George Britton, Jr. all of Ohio. Friends may call at Hoff-Shorac Funeral Home, 235 Clifton Avenue, Mingo Junction of Friday 6-9 p.m., where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Tom Thomas officiating. Burial at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or American Diabetes Association.
