Joyce A. Dunlope, age 76, of Wintersville, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Wintersville, Ohio, on January 6, 1937 the daughter of the late John H. and Grace V. Tumlin Talbott. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Talbott, Sr.Joyce managed the former Shacklefords-Maxwell Florist which was located in the Mall in the earlier years. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Steubenville, and a graduate of Wintersville High School class of 1954. She is survived by her husband, Larry R. Dunlope at home, son, Kim Dunlope of Salineville, Ohio, daughter, Kathy (Chuck) Doughtery of South Bend, IN; three grandchildren, Jackson Dunlope of Salineville, Jessie and Kaitlin Dougherty of South Bend, IN; a sister, Madeline Stacy Zambito of Webster, FL; sister-in-law, Barbara Roush of Reedsville, OH and her nieces and nephews, Daniel (Teresa) Talbott, Jr., Denise (Sid) Manuel, Kevin (Leeann) Stacy, Randy (Lisa) Stacy, Cheryl (Lenny) Boys and Donnette (Jon) Burns.Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10 a.m., with Rev. David Massimi officiating.Burial will be private at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.A special “Thank You” to the Valley Hospice Staff where memorials contributions may be directed, or to American Cancer Society, Jefferson County Chapter.

Sorry that I missed you when I came by, as I thought Joycie was still in the nursing home and I wanted to go with you to see her. Kim and Kathy: Your were blessed to have Joycie as a Mother. She loved you all so much. She spoke often of Jessie and Kaitlyn and Jackson. She was a proud GrandMother. AnAnd, Nathanial was her pride and joy.
