Joyce A. Blanchard, 69, of Steubenville, OH passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at home three days shy of her 70th birthday. She was born in Mingo Junction, OH on March 27, 1946 a daughter of the late Harry and Anna Pidock Smith. Joyce was Protestant by faith and a graduate of Steubenville High School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers John, Raymond, Gene and Donald Smith and her sister Carol Smith. She is survived by her husband Ronald Blanchard; son Stephen A. Virtue, Jr.; daughter Lisa Maria Gilbert; her wonderful sister Cherry Bennett and her companion Anthony “Joe” Blankenship; grandchildren Malesha May Forster, Michaelis Maurice Forster, Jr., Vanity Aailiyah Gilbert, Stephen A. Virtue, III, Alexis Jene Freeman and Danielle; special niece Jasmine Smith and special nephew Issiah Michael Lee Smith.
