I just learned of Joe's passing. I worked as manager at Peoples Drug in Suitland with Joe from July 1973 thru August 1974. Joe was a real gentleman and will be missed. We had a pretty good crew at that store, and I have many fond memories of working with Joe. Charles Reynolds, Hollywood, MD

Joe was such a great part of our family, too, even though we weren't related. He is my brother's godfather and he spent many, many Christmases and other holidays with our family in Maryland, where he lived for more than 40 years. We loved him so much and we will miss him terribly. Actually, we have missed him a lot since he moved back to Ohio about 10 years ago. He was a roomer with my grandmother for many years and lived in her house, after she passed away. I know he is playing cards in heaven with Liz and Tom.

I have many fond memories of you. Your smile was one thing that always made me feel good. You are such a gentle and kind soul and I know you are with God. Remember me for I will not forget you. If you know what all of us are saying, give Dad, Uncle Tony, and Aunt Lou a big hug for me. All of you made me feel special and loved. I will never forget any of it and I am so much better for being a part of your lives. Love Always, Diana
