I met and knew Joe through the bridge world. He was a great player. He was always willing to help me learn and grow when ever I ask him. I was fortunate to be his partner a few times and really enjoyed it. He will be missed every time we shuffle and play, as a partner or director. Rest in peace my friend!

Hey Joe, We were an awesome team at bridge. We beat all of them when we were playing in the Wheeling area in the 70's and 80's. I still remember at the Hudson, OH tourney when we played together and you made Life Master. Rest in peace my friend and someday we will play bridge again in that great bridge game in the sky. Your friend, Bob

Joe will be missed by so many in the bridge community. He was a brilliant and meticulous bridge player and director. His services to the Steubenville Big Red sports world were also invaluable. Rest well, Joe. Your friend and fellow bridge player and partner, Donna Hill
