Joseph Raymond Andresen, 91, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Trinity West. He was born in Steubenville, OH on June 11, 1926 a son of the late Laurence & Barbara McDonough Andresen. He was retired from Weirton Steel Co. Tin Mill as the head scheduler and was a member of the 25 Year Club. Joseph was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and served in the US Navy during WWII. Joseph was the first person to register at the College of Steubenville.
He is survived by his wife Alice M. Snyder Andresen, children Barbara Ann (David) Hefferin of Allison Park, PA; Raymond Timothy Andresen, Kenneth George (Debra) Andresen and Richard Patrick (Munya) Andresen all of Steubenville, OH; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday 4-7 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter’s Church with Rev. Timothy Huffman officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
