Obituary For Joseph H. Randolph

Joseph H. Randolph, 79, of Bloomingdale, OH died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at his daughter’s home in Oregon, Ohio.  He was born July 12, 1932 in Kilgore, OH a son of the late Harry and Clara Beckley Randolph. Joseph retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel as a millwright after 43 years of service.  He enjoyed building houses and playing Sudoku.  Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Edith Beverly Randolph on August 5, 2003 and two brothers George and Thomas Randolph.  Surviving are three sons John (Linda) Randolph of Jewett, OH, Ralph (Laura) Randolph of Bloomingdale, OH and Roger (Helen) Randolph of Lebanon, PA; two daughters Jo-Ann (Terry) Frey of Rainsboro, OH and Regina (Donald) Gilkey of Oregon, OH; four sisters Freeda Enochs of Brilliant, OH, Ellen (Ben) Gundrum of Steubenville, OH, Ruth (Walter) Miser of Kilgore, OH and Shirley Thorn of Dover, OH; eleven grandchildren Rachel, Esther, Leah, Jeremy, Kenny and Teresa Randolph, Lisa Reed, Misty Entrekin, Shannon Burton, Rae Ann LeMaster and Stephanie Will; 17 great grandchildren Ashley and Dustin Reed, Morgan, Justin, Lucas, Makayla and Bradley Randolph, Grace, Lindsay and Leah Burton, Joshua, Julia and Ryan LeMaster, Elayna and Parker Will and Nathanial and Makayla Entrekin; one great great grandson Landen Reed and two great great granddaughters Breanna Hughes and Lexie Morgan.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. where a funeral service will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. with Pastor Kenn Sickle officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.

    Sorry to hear of Joe's death,and during the years Joe was my brother Steve best friend. In my younger years I spent a lot of time at the Randolph farm. The whole family was super in my life.
