Warm thoughts for you and your children during this time of loss... An Angel Walks Beside Us Angels Live forever, far beyond our days on earth, and every soul receives an angel guardian at birth. Invisible, these angels never leave us, day or night. They know our fears and whisper "Things are going to be all right." They give us strength and purpose, keep our hope and courage strong, they fill our minds with wisdom and our spirits with a song. And when the time in this world comes to reach our journey's end, our angel walks beside us like, familiar friend. And as we leave behind the only place we've ever known, we see our angel's smile at last and hear "You're home...you're home." May you find comfort in knowing that Joe has been guided gently home. With many prayers...Douglas

Flora, Joey, Rachel & Families, We were so shocked of the news of Joes passing. I pray that God will comfort you all in this time and help you find contentment in the memories of your husband and father until you meet again. We shared so many good memories with your family. It's times like these that you realize just how fragile life is. Reflecting on Joe life, one thing you can say is that he loved and was proud of his family. God has promised to hear our prayers, so I am asking that He be with you all now and in the time ahead. Our prayers, love and friendship go out to each of you.

We just returned from our grandson's marriage in the Salt Lake Temple when we received an email with information that Joe was taken in an accident. How tragic and sad, as we will always remember his smiling face and friendly way when we visited there. He was way too young to go, but May God Bless all of you who are left to mourn his passing. We are saddened as well.

Flora, I am still grieving over Joe's untimely passing. I would call every time I visited Ohio and so many times we were planning on seeing each other again. I will never forget the greatest friend I ever had and am proud to have been part of both of your lives even though it was when we were very young. Most people who are high school sweethearts don't make it but you and Joe were what I now believe were soulmates. Meant to be together by the divine hand of our loving God. I think of both of you from time to time and some people will never know that I was the connection that brought you two together. Joe was so wonderful in every way and I am so sorry he was taken so unexpectedly. I am trying to deal with this in the best way I know how. Even though our relationship had been separated by many years I still carried a great deal of love and respect for him. He was like a brother to me and was there when I needed him always. We still all share the same great memories Joe was able to leave us with here on this planet. When you invited me to his 50th birthday party I didn't make enough effort beleiving there was still so much more time to see my old and dearest friends. I miss him and I am so sorry we've lost him. Please accept my sincere regret and condolences. Your friend and classmate, Ron (Bub) Burchfield

Wilma Clark has written me about the loss of your loved one. I am so very sorry for all of you. I lost my husband in late March (which kept me from attending the Clark grave marking), so I know how deeply the loss is felt. I take this opportunity to thank you, Flora, for making the Clark event possible. May God bless you with many loving memories.
