Obituary For Joseph E. Osz

Joseph E. Osz, 57, of Wintersville passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Valley Hospice North surrounded by his family. He was born in Steubenville on April 2, 1958 a son of the late Stephen and Louise Hightland Osz Sr. He graduated from Wintersville High School class of 1976. Joe worked for Todd Morelli Building Supply of Wintersville, OH and owned Osz repair service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Edward Osz. He is survived by his children James (Mary) Taylor of Columbus, OH; Joanna Osz of Pittsburgh, PA; Michael Osz of Steubenville and Nathan (Danielle) Osz of Wintersville; longtime girlfriend Billie Jo Dailey of Wintersville; brother Steve Osz of Fairmont, WV; grandchildren Jacob Barricklow, Megan Taylor, Jade Miller and Aiden Osz. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Sunday 2-4 and 6-8p.m., where funeral services will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 10a.m. with Rev. Bill Westling officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

    May your memories of Joe be comforting and may they strengthen you to believe that the blessings of love that he put into your life will never end. Joe was a good man who was hard working and generous. He has been a friend of our family for years and helped us out with our cars many times. He will be missed. My prayers go out to the Osz family.
