Joseph Allietta, 90, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Hopedale, Ohio on September 25, 1931, a son of the late Joseph and Lena Pelegreen Allietta. Joe retired from Weirton Steel Co. tin mill and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Preceding Joe in death were his son Michael Allietta on May 17, 2021 and canine companion Bonnie.
Surviving are his wife Carmela Pullano Allietta; sons Mark (Lillian “Toby”) Allietta & Matthew (Mary) Allietta; daughter-in-law Tammy Allietta; six grandchildren A.J., Shawna, Christopher, Matthew, Mario & Gracie; and brother Edward Allietta.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Gossett officiating.
Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV
