Joseph A. Bonacci, Sr. 90 of Wintersville, Ohio formerly of Weirton, West Virginia, died Monday, August 12, 2002 at Trinity West, Steubenville, Ohio. He was born in McDowell County, West Virginia on July 19, 1912 a son of the late Rosario and Filomena Marra Bonacci. He was a former member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Weirton and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was retired from National Steel where he was a car bracer in the Tin Mill. He was proceeded in death by his wife Isabelle Tesack Bonacci, one son Ronald Bonacci; three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by sons Joseph Bonacci, Jr. of Weirton and Ronald David Bane of Wintersville; daughters Joanne Bane of Wintersville, and Donna (Charles) Gilroy of Elida, Ohio, 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, one great great grandson. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Jack McCoy officiating. Entombment at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Weirton, West Virginia.
