We are so sorry to hear of Wally's passing away. As you know, he was a very special friend to both of us and especially to John, "his church singing buddy." We loved both Wally and Ethel and will miss them. Wally always had some cute joke to brighten our day. We send our thoughts and prayers to all of you--His Family.

I was sorry to learn of your dad's passing. We sang in Civic Choral Soc. for many years and enjoyed each others company. Is Rev. David Atkinson your cousin?

Scotty was not only my uncle, but a fellow worker at the mill, a fishing partner and model maker. During the years scotty and my folks spent much time together traveling, visiting and just sitting around talking and playing cards. Not only were they relatives, but they were friends and enjoyed each other. What they had over the years is what all familys wish they had and many do not or did not. Now that they are together again Heaven is a livelyer place and i bet there is a card game going with them together again. I will miss John as much as i miss my mother, father and Scotty wife and my aunt Ethel to me they ment much and were a group and if you had one you had all four and were in for a fine day.It is a very sad day losing the last of a fine set of people. May the Lord bless them and take good care of them.

I just had one Uncle, and he was top of the line at it. Old school, solid stock that is just not being made any more. I am proud to say I am a part of his genetic line. You know, I had to write down his jokes to remember them all! He never had notes on his hand, either! LOL Please save a mini Tootsie Roll from the dining room for me! 🙂

GrandPaw will always be in our hearts, along with Grandma. I really wish I would have taken a video of him singing "Doe a Deer" with Emily in December! So many incredible memories and laughter with G&G. Now they are two stars in heaven looking down on us and getting us through our rough time - and they will spend their 70th wedding anniversary together! All his grandchildren used to respond with "Oh GrandPaw" when he told a really bad (but funny) joke. "We Don't remember the Days, we remember the Moments"...jenny girl.
