John W. Frey, 74, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at The Wyngate joining his wife in Heaven on the date of their wedding anniversary.
He was born in Steubenville on December 3, 1948 a son of the late Elmer E. and Ida Mae Rogers Frey, Sr. He was retired from Western Branch Diesel, an Indian Creek Boosters member and member of Brentwood Methodist Church.
Preceding John in death were his wife Joyce Frey; and two brothers Elmer and James Frey.
John is survived by his children Ryan Frey, Tiffany Frey, Trisha (Mike) Roe, Erica (Justin) McClure, and Natalie DiBenedetto; six grandchildren; siblings Norman Frey, Robin (Robert) Hoover and Nancy Whaley.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday, June 11, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. David Shores officiating.
