I want to offer our deepest sympathies to the Vukelic family on John's passing. Space doesn't permit all of them, but the most important part of my memories of John are those of his outgoing and hard driving personality. He would give the shirt off his back to a friend in need. If you look up "multi-tasking" in the dictionary, they ought to have his picture there. Even 40+ years ago, he always had three or four things on his mind at once. Although we lost contact over the years, I was more than thrilled to hear about his success with the restaurant. I know that he had to be very proud of what he accomplished there, and if anyone deserved that kind of success, it was him. Rest in peace my friend. Michael Wehr and Family.

John & I worked together for a couple years when he was in the recruitment business (1980-82) I was the guy that brought him home for a weekend in Steubenville to visit the family. I was going that in my motorhome on my way to a wedding in Maryland. John always talked about growing up in Steubenville, his family and the businesss he had been involved with. He was always proud of where he had grown up. We had a lot of good times togehter over those couple of years. I hadn't seen him in a few years. Last time was probably at Crawdaddy's. Ironically an old friend of ours Tom Schroeder stopped in my office last week and I was asking him how John had been doing. He filled me in on the little bit he knew. Then today I got the E-mail from Tom that John had passed away unexpectedly on Monday. He was a great guy to be around never met anybody that could talk as fast as John. He'll be missed.
