Obituary For John S. Dorich

John S. Dorich, 88, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Country Club Manor. He was born June 21, 1932 in Weirton, WV a son of the late Steve & Frances Yoklic Dorich. He was a retired industrial engineer from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. John was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; Association of Industrial Engineers; past secretary/treasurer of Steubenville Bowling Assn.; life member of Ohio Inner City Bowling Assn. and an Army veteran. Preceding John in death was his sister Elizabeth Upton.

John is survived by his wife Claudia M. Allan Dorich; children Ann (Robert) Murk, John S. (Jenny) Dorich & David (Francie) Dorich; five grandchildren Isaac, Claire, Norah, Jonah & Elijah.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday 1-4 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 10 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial at Fort Steuben.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o Blessed Sacrament Church, 852 Main Street, Wintersville, OH 43953

Masks are required at the funeral home and church. Social distancing will be enforced and visitors are asked not to linger after paying their respects.
