John R. “Jack” Moran, 59, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born in Steubenville on June 14, 1950 a son of the late James and Susan V. Kopras Moran. Jack was a pipefitter with the Plumber and Pipefitters Local 495 Cambridge/Steubenville. He was graduate and avid fan of Steubenville Big Red and a fan of Ohio State. Preceded in death by his in-laws Paul and Kathleen Krumenacker; brothers Glenn and Jimmy Moran and sister Patty. Jack is survived by his wife Judie Krumenacker Moran; stepsons Derek and Darin Gillespie both of North Carolina; step daughter Dawon George of Columbus, OH; sister Linda (Raymond) Harris of Martins Ferry; brother Ron (Sandy) Miller, Sr. of Rayland, OH; nieces Jessica Harris and her friend Dirk Ott of Columbus, OH, Jody Miller of Bradley, OH and Shelley Miller of Wintersville, OH; nephews John (Jen) Harris of Columbus, OH and Ron Miller, Jr. of Wintersville, OH; six grandchildren and one great grandson. Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home (formerly McClaves), 611 N. 4th Street, Steubenville on Tuesday from 2-8p.m., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11a.m. Burial at the convenience of the family.
