I wanted to send my sincere condolences to John's family. John and I were good friends and played in a band together when we were in high school. John played bass and I played the drums. We had a lot of great times at band practices and cruising around Wintersville in John's car back in the 70's. One of John's favorite bands back then was Bad Company, and we often had them playing on the car stereo. When I hear one of those great old songs today, it always takes me back to those days. I have lived in St Louis since graduating, and was very sad when I got word of John's passing today.
