John M. Poole, 70, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020, at U.P.M.C. He was born on November 5, 1950 in Steubenville, the son of the late John & Rose Osz Poole. He was the owner of Poole’s Bait Shop, where he enjoyed sitting on the porch swing talking to his customers. John was a member of Mingo Sportsmans Club and loved to race stock cars, hunt, fish and play cards. He also enjoyed having coffee at Tim Horton’s with his buddies.
John is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna Lee Viers Poole; son John M. Poole; and grandson Tyler Dunn (Mandi).
Per John’s request, private services will be observed.
