Jack was my uncle and when I was growing up he was a man I looked up to and wanted to be with. We experienced working together installing furnaces and him helping me learn what it meant to put in an honest days work. Between him and his dad, my Grandpa, I was spoiled for life and still find it hard to take a break from working and doing my best at any job. I know he did not want to give up on life because he got such joy out of his family who loved him so much and wanted always to stay close to him. He had a charming disposition, he liked a good laugh, and was always patient with me and everyone he worked for, even if they did not reciprocate. So many stories I have held about him and my Dad and their joint escapades that I have memories now about both of them together. Jack was a man's man and got respect from all who knew him because of his honest integrity and ability to put you at ease when you where with him. I will miss him but will never forget what he meant to me and my outcome as a man. I send my Love and Sympathy to Grace, his children, grandchildren, and the rest of the family

Please accept my deepest sympathy to you all in this time of sadness. Any time I was around your family, Mr. Mutton always treated me with great kindness (as did you all). This lesson is something I've never forgotten and have always appreciated. My prayers are with you all.

Dear Grace & Family, I was at exercise this morning and Fred Maffit, Donnie Raber & Myron Thompson (from Jewett) were there, and we were talking about Ginny & you, and Fred said he saw where Jack had passed away. So I decided to look it up on the computer when I got home to see if it was true. And of course, I was sorry to find it to be true. You have our deepest sympathy. Had I known sooner, we would have came to calling hours. It was good to see you & get to visit with you and Jack this past summer. Since I'm exercising at Cadiz now, I don't get into Steubenville very often anymore. But will try and stop next time I'm in your way. Once again please know that you and your family are in our thoughts & prayers. God Bless, Lois & Jim
