Renee,Thanks for your beautiful post about Dad. All of the staff at Dr. Fojas's office was so kind to him. He was so grateful for that kindness and compassion from all of you. As I started coming to his appointmentswith him, you all were just as kind to me as well. I never was made to feel bad when I would call about different concerns. You would all tell me ...."We just love your dad and would do anything for him ". I knew you meant that and not "just keeping thepesty daughter happy". I always felt better when we left knowing that you all had his best welfare in mind. I'll never forget that and will be forever grateful for the wonderful care he received. May God Bless you all!!!

I didn't have the pleasure of really knowing your Dad, but it is obvious what a tremendous impact he had on the lives of so many. I'm sorry to hear of John's passing he was a wonderful caring man that put others first. He was a man that truly loved his town and it's people. From the time I was a little girl he was always asking my aunt's and uncle's if there was anything they needed. The time I spent in Stratton at Grandma Martin's house with her and aunt Blanche or at aunt Betty Johnson's house ment I was always outside riding my bike around town. The Abdella family knew who I was I knew that ment my family knew what I was doing . Now I realize what a great feeling to know such a great man. May you rest in the angels arms and know you are loved

I met John at the Aquanot many years ago. I worked the back bar with him on Saturday nights. It was then that I met my late husband Al Brennan. Al and John worked at Sammie plant together. John was a very special person to us both. Al was the VP for local 154. Every time I came back to the area I always stopped to see John. He was a wonderful man and a good friend. He will be greatly missed.

I was deeply saddened when I heard of John's passing. I have very fond memories of John from the time I was a little girl. He and my dad had a special bond of friendship. I remember going to Stratton to Abdalla's tavern and eating whatever goodie John had cooked up for the day. He always was attentive and kind to children no matter how busy he was. He would take the time for a hug and get you a pop and a candy bar... ( well you got that yourself as you were allowed to pick out the one you wanted from the case....lol) He was always like a father figure to me. When my dad died , I was eighteen years old. Johnny always told me if I ever needed anything to please let him know. He had told my dad that he would watch over me..Of course I never asked him for anything ( but advice one time in my fifty some years...), but I knew he would be there if I were ever in need. He had a big beautiful heart that way... I moved out of town for six years and every time I visited back home, I made it a point to go see Johnny. He always took the time to visit . He would always look outside and say what are you driving, do you have a job, do you need anything? He honored my dad by always checking on me. He was a very special man.. I ,for one will miss him greatly but will look forward to the day I see him in Heaven! I'm sure he will be there. He was a man of integrity and was a great example to all. My deepest sympathies go out to his wonderful family! I will be praying for God to comfort your hearts as you grieve over this very special man! We lost a great man but Heaven has gained an angelic soul ....

I met John when I worked for Dr. Fojas. I loved John from the first day he came into the office. He was so kind and always could make me smile. He always looked sharp and smelled great. I would always tell him he needed to bring me lunch from the steakhouse, needless to say I never got it, but had many laughs about it. John was one of a kind and made my first job in healthcare a great experience! A true gentleman that will be greatly missed. The only regret I have is leaving my job with Dr. Fojas and missing the wonderful people I met there. John was at the top of the list! It's not goodbye just see you later ❤
