Obituary For John Lambert "Bert" McClain

John Lambert “Bert” McClain, 79, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Trinity West. He was born September 14, 1934 in Toronto, Ohio a son of the late John “Knox" and Dorothy Minor McClain. In addition to his parents John is preceded in death by a brother, Harold McClain.  John retired from Weirton Steel after 34 years as a turn foreman in the sheet mill. He was a member of Pilgrim Masonic Lodge 691, Steubenville Scottish Rite A.A.S.R., Steubenville Shrine Club, Weirton Steel Management Club and the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. He was also a member of the Wintersville Church of Christ. Bert was "Mr. Fix It” and loved tinkering and building things.  Surviving are his wife of 59 years Jo Ann; two daughters, Shelley (Jay) Zatta of Wintersville, OH and Theresa (Marc) Roberson of Winchester, VA; grandchildren Logan Roberson of Dayton, OH, Aimee (Brenton) Lehman of Atlanta, GA, Caleb Roberson of Winchester, VA and great granddaughter Charlotte Lehman of Atlanta, GA.  Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Thursday     5 – 8 p.m. where a service will be held Friday 11 a.m. with Pastor Imre Gulyas officiating.
