John L. Dunlap 89, of Wintersville, OH died Thursday, April 25, 2002, at Dixon Health Care Center, Wintersville, OH. He was born in Bloomingdale, OH on Oct. 25, 1912, the son of the late William L. and Bertha Myers Dunlap. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Wilma Ruby Yocum Dunlap and four sister’s: Mary Mathes, Ethel Wallace, Florence Yost and Iva Marsh and one brother: William Ross Dunlap. He was Methodist by faith. He was a retired truck driver for Humes Trucking Co. of Steubenville and also drove for Roger’s Trucking of Toronto and West End Motors of Wintersville. Surviving are his wife Leona Jane Harmon Dunlap of Wintersville, Ohio (whom he married May 5, 1945); one sister Hattie Cline of Bloomingdale, OH and several nieces and nephews.
