John F. Clark, Sr. of Bloomingdale, OH passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Trinity West. He was born in Steubenville on February 12, 1947 a son of the late Robert J. and Hazel Tausch Clark. He was retired from the Weirton Steel as a pump house operator, U.S. Army veteran and and a member of Unionport Masonic Lodge 333 F&AM. John was also a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia F. Hanlin Clark, who passed on November 7, 2007. John is survived by his daughter Mary Ellen Clark; son John F. (Candy) Clark, Jr.; devoted fiancée Karen Hayes; brothers Robert “Jay”, Howard, Michael, Charles and Todd Clark; sisters Robin Collins and Devonna Clark; grandchildren Garrett Clark, Carson Clark, Lyvionne Hook, Trinity Turner, Candace Turner and Kristy Turner; 3 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Monday from 4-7 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at 10a.m. with Rev. Arthur Wells officiating. Burial at Bloomingdale Cemetery. Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad will conduct graveside honors. Memorial contributions may be made to: Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, 5001 Baum Blvd., Suite 635, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
