John A. “Jack” Weaver, Jr. 76 of Wintersville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 13, 2004 with his family at his side. He was born in Wheeling, WV on February 11, 1928 a son of the late John A. and Agnes McDonnell Weaver, Sr. He was the owner of Forms and Systems in Wintersville. Jack was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; Weirton Elks Lodge; American Legion Post 1 in Wheeling and a former Wintersville Booster. He was a graduate of the College of Steubenville and had served as the chairman of Wintersville Public Utilities. Jack served in the US Navy aboard the USS Randolph. Preceding Jack in death were his beloved wife Dorothy L. Henry Weaver, whom he married on August 13, 1955 and she passed away on September 15, 1996 and a brother Frank Weaver who passed away November 13, 2000. Surviving are three sons Thomas M. Weaver of Saline, Michigan, John P. (Bobbi) Weaver of Toronto, Ohio and Timothy R. (Angie) Weaver of Charleston, WV; two daughters Colleen (Tony) Morelli of Wintersville and Tammy (Shawn) Renfro of Salem, Ohio; ten grandchildren Erika and Ryan Weaver, Danielle, Shannon and Shelby Renfro, Zoe and Kyle Weaver, Josh, Alex and Andi Weaver; two brothers Fred (Sandy) Weaver and James (Connie) Weaver both of Wheeling; and two sisters Mary (Roger) Shaefer of Adena, Ohio and Patricia (James) Bennett of Sun City Center, FL. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Church with Msgr. Gerald E. Calovini officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Vigil services 3:45p.m. Tuesday In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to either the St. Vincent DePaul Society or Catholic Charities, both in care of Blessed Sacrament Church. Ohio Valley Veterans will conduct services at the cemetery.
