John A. “Chipper” Myers, 57, of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Valley Hospice Care Center North. He was born May 27, 1955 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Alvin E. and Merle M. Parrish Myers. Chipper graduated from Riverside Military School in Georgia and was a plater operator at Arcelor-Mittal Steel. He was to well loved to ever be forgotten. Chipper was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Myers. Surviving are his wife Sherri J. (Graham) Myers; two sons Jason J. (Courtney) Myers and Brock E. Myers both of Steubenville, OH; granddaughter Kaelyn Myers of Steubenville, OH; brother Richard Myers of Cleveland, OH; mother-in-law Patty A. Graham of Steubenville, OH and two sisters-in-law Kathy Lynn Swiger of Durango, CO and Rhonda Darlene Graham of Steubenville, OH. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Thursday 3 – 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. until the time of service at 9 p.m. with Rev. Terry Cowser officiating

We were so sorry to here of the passing of a really great guy. I am in Florida and did not hear about it until today. My sister Linda in Toronto also did not know, and was deeply saddened to hear. I know one thing for sure, he was a great neighbor and friend to my Dad "Muggsy" Florian. My Dad really enjoyed having Chipper across the street for guy stuff all the time when they would work on cars etc or need something.
