Obituary For Jody L. Hutter-Pownall

Jody L. Hutter-Pownall, 59 of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on July 23, 2023, at Valley Hospice in Trinity West Hospital.

She was born in Steubenville, OH at Ohio Valley Hospital on April 14, 1964.

Jody enjoyed socializing with everyone she met through her journey in life. There weren’t too many people in the Steubenville/Wintersville area that didn’t know Jody and her distinctive laugh that would light up a whole room. Her favorite place of employment was The Ville Restaurant. Rick Hritz and she had an inside joke about the Ville. The Ville is like one the lyrics from the Eagles song Hotel California, “You can checkout anytime you like but you can never leave here”. In her spare time, she enjoyed hanging out with her friends, the Amigos, but most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family, children & grandchildren.

Jody is survived by her mother Carol L. Hoover-Rabe; sister Kimberly Stover; children Melissa Eisnaugle, Thomas (Stephanie) Hutter, Matthew (Alissa Westling) Hutter, Katlin Pownall; grandchildren Adalynn Hutter, Alexandra Hutter, Kai Hughes, and Zyla Hutter; nieces and nephews Brennan Stover, Lindsay Stover, Hannah Stover, and Ethan Stover; great nieces Paisley Stover, Ayla Roberts, Zara Roberts, Rinn Roberts, and Kalani Jones. She was preceded in death by her father Ron Taylor and stepfather Virgil Rabe.

There will be a private service to celebrate her life.

A special Thank You to Mindy & Roger Isla, Donna & Gary Robinson, and Larry Pownall

for all the help in her time of need.

I have known Jody since childhood. She had the best smile. Such a strong willed, funny, says what's on her mind kinda girl. She surely deserved none of this. Always kind and thoughtful. And shared her stubbornness. Ill miss you my friend. Till we meet again. Godspeed.
