Joann E. Mancano, 87 of Wintersville, Ohio went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Valley Hospice. She was born in Steubenville on June 30, 1935 the daughter of the late Edward and Florence Melching Aldridge. She attended First Westminster Presbyterian Church and had loved and served the Lord since she was 14 years old. Over the years, Joann worked at Lane’s Drug Store. W.T. Grant, Beall & Steele Pharmacy and Gertrude Lee Candy.
Joann was a homemaker at heart and was known for her cooking and baking, especially her pizzelles. She is preceded in death by her husband Rocky Mancano in 2013.
Joann is survived by her daughter Roxanne (Bill) Lazasz; son Mark Mancano; granddaughter Brittany Lazasz; and brothers Edward (Carol) Aldridge and Robert (Jane) Aldridge.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon with Rev. Jason Elliott officiating. Entombment at Union Cemetery.
Donations in Joann’s memory may be directed to Valley Hospice or First Westminster Church.
