My heart goes out to her loved ones.   Joan was a good friend when we were growing up, and I still remember her fondly even though we lost touch after high school. She had a wonderful loving spirit.  I am sure she will be greatly missed.

Joan was a great lady.  When my grandson was born with a heart defect and a benefit was held for his family, Joan was one of the first in line to help.  I will never forget her kindness to our family.  She was also happy to see LJ in her restaurant and always asked about his health when he wasn't with us for dinner.  She will be missed and I am sure her generous heart and smile will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege to know her.  Many prayers to her family during this time and may the memories you had with her make you smile.
