Dearest Judy: Please acept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your beloved brother, Jerry. We remember Jerry from Wayne High School, many years ago. He was in the band with me (Suzan). And he and Bill both played on the basketball team. Jerry was always such a nice guy. Jerry's cousin (Bill Simmons) is now married to Bill's sister (Pam). We extend our condolences to all of Jerry's family. With Sympathy, Bill & Suzan Logsdon from Cleveland, Tennessee

We send our thoughts and prayers to your family. Jerry and Becky and their boys, Mark, Mike and Ryan were a big part of my teenage years when they lived in Bloomingdale. Jerry and Becky made me feel like one of the family, as I spent a good deal of time with the boys babysitting. I know how close Jerry was with his boys and I know he will be greatly missed by them as well as his entire family. Candy and Chuck Newburn and Family

How nice to be able to see the wonderful picture of Jerry. We will forever treasure the wonderful memories of Jerry from the time that we were just children until his death. Jerry was one of those friends who always had the time to listen to each and every person he encountered. We will expecially treasure the times in high school, watching Jerry play a terrific basketball game and play the trumpet in the band with so much passion. He truly was a "leader" in all that he did. We are thankful that our friendship carried on through our adult lives and we enjoyed a lot of time together at one another's homes. Though we lost touch in the last years, we never-ever forgot Jerry. We love you, Jerry, and you will forever be in our memories and we pray that we too, will one day join you in heaven. Love, Judy & Bob Newburn

To the Simmons family: I was saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. I remember when we were kids dipping our Snyder's chips with holes into cokes, and eating them, so long ago it seems. My heartfelt sympathy to all, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Barbara Rowland
