Jeannette L. Ainey, 83 of Wintersville, Ohio died Monday, December 13, 2010 at The Wyngate. She was born June 17, 1927 in Cattaraugus, NY a daughter of the late Emil & Emma Miller Glow. She was a member of Wintersville U.M. Church and Wintersville Womans Club. Jeannette was a receptionist for the late Dr. Jack Wise at Wintersville Veterinary Hospital. She loved to flower garden and volunteered at her church and the former Ohio Valley Hospital. Jeannette and her late husband visited every state in the Union. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, grandson Douglas Ainey; brother Ernest Glow; sisters Dorothy Gillette & Irene Seba. Jeannette is survived by her son Steven (Peggy) Ainey of Glenshaw, PA; daughter Connie (Andy) Buydasz of Wintersville; four grandchildren Elizabeth Ainey, Bradley, Adam & Kevin Nida; sister Minnie Marsh; several step grand and great grandchildren. A special thank-you to Wyngate Senior Living Community and Valley Hospice for their exceptional care. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday 4-7 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Wintersville U.M. Church -OR- Alzheimers Association.
