Jeannette J. Spear of Steubenville, Ohio passed away at her home on Monday, May 27, 2019. She was born in Wheeling, WV to the late Biagio “Cookie” & Gilda Julian Monti. She was a member of the former St. Anthony Catholic Church and Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Argonne Post 33.
Jeannette was a nurses aide at the former OVH. Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. “Bob” Spear on February 22, 2012.
She is survived by her daughter Deneen (Steve) Bright of Colliers, WV; two grandchildren Julia and Christopher Bright; brother Vincent (Lucia) Monti; nephew Henry Wells; niece Desiree Vance; several great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Thursday 5-7 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 until 10 a.m. services. Entombment at Fort Steuben.
