Jean Wright 46 of Mingo Junction, OH died Monday, June 24, 2002 from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Rt. 151 in New Alexandria, OH. She was born in Steubenville, OH on December 11, 1955 a daughter of Jay A. Martin of Mingo Junction, OH and the late Jewell E. Gault Martin. Preceded in death a daughter Shawnda L. Wright; a sister Connie L. Martin and grandmother Helen Lennex Gault. Jean was a homemaker and is survived by husband George S. Wright Jr. whom she married Oct. 12, 1973; daughters Catina Marie (Billy) Devore and Marcy Lynn Wright (boyfriend Bobby Tennant) all of Mingo Junction; 3 brothers George Martin of Mingo Junction, Jay (Cindy) Martin of Brilliant, OH and Gary (Bonnie) Martin of Toronto, OH and two sisters Robin Martin and Mary (Joseph) Goodrich both of Mingo Junction, OH. She was a loving mimi of five Grandchildren, Chaunda age 9, Devin age 6, Herbert age 4, Carina age 2 and Dustin age 2. Sadly loved and missed by mother-in-law Blanche Wright, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and very close friend Virginia Hatcher of Steubenville. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at New Alexandria (Ohio) Cemetery with Fr. John McCoy officiating.
