Jean S. Granatir, 87, of Mingo Junction, OH died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in Weirton, WV. She was born in Bellaire, OH on June 21, 1924 a daughter of the late Walter and Mabel Mellott. Jean was Catholic by faith and very involved in many Mingo organizations: Catholic Women’s Club, Mingo Beautification Committee and Mingo Jr. Women’s Club. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John E, Granatir, Sr; sisters June Carle and Edna Ogden; brothers Lloyd, Victor and Bubba. She is survived by her son John E. (Toni) Granatir, Jr. of Mingo Junction; granddaughters Kelly J. Granatir and Jonni L. (Melvin) Ritchie; great grandsons Isaiah Lee-Granatir and Troy Ritchie. Services will be private.
