Janet E. Ruthem, 77, of Wintersville died Friday July 28, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Richmond, Ohio on August 19, 1928 a daughter of the late Alva C. and Mary Etta Rodgers Hosterman. Janet was a member of Wintersville Church of Christ past president of Woman’s Fellowship, and a 1956 graduate of Wintersville High School. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Ruthem and two brothers Warren and Harry Hosterman. Surviving are three sons Warren G. (Mary) Ruthem of Dallas, TX, Rodney J. (Jill) Ruthem of Hopedale, OH, and Raymond E. (Marjorie) Ruthem of Dallas, TX; daughter Theresa C. (Todd) Giannamore of Wintersville; four grandchildren; two great grandsons; brother Robert Hosterman and sister Virginia Westling both of Wintersville. Friends may call at Dunlope - Shorac Funeral Home 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Monday 7 – 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday 12:30 p.m. with Minister Steve Alexander officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
