Jane E. Baz, 67, of Steubenville, Ohio died Sunday, October 30, 2005 at home. She was born in Steubenville on August 20, 1938 the daughter of Dr. Alfred O. and Grace Miley Haverfield. She was a member and president of Questers Chapter De-He-Wa-Mis #479; several bridge clubs and attended Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Jane was a 1956 graduate of Steubenville High School. Preceding Jane in death were two brothers Richard and Alfred O. Haverfield, Jr. Jane is survived by her husband Arthur E. Baz, whom she married on April 27, 1963; son Douglas Baz and daughter Melissa K. Baz both of Columbus, Ohio; brother Dr. Thomas (Barbara) Haverfield of Cameron, WV and sisters-in-law Janet Haverfield and Beverly Haverfield both of Steubenville. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Dean Dimon officiating.
