The comment on Jim asking about others was noted by others. Because of that, not many knew, he was in the military. He helped evacuation and medical help at concentration camps in WWII. He was the last person you'd expect in the military, a peaceful type. That speaks of the sacrifice involved in serving our country. At the memorial, mentioned was how he missed his wife, and had a great marriage. He was uncle to many. His vocabulary was exemplary. At Hospice, he said "yes" to a few of us when asked if he accepted Jesus as Savior. I got to know my uncle better the last 12 years of his life and that was a privilege. I will miss his company, his phone calls, and his wisdom.

Mr Keifer was a very sweet gentleman who I met through my work. Always polite and interested in what was going on in my life. He will be missed very much.
