James Thomas “Jim” Martin, 56, of Hopedale, Ohio died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at his residence after a short illness. He was born May 1, 1951 in Steubenville, Ohio.  Preceding Jim in death was his father Arthur “Bud” Martin and sister Kathy L. Martin.Jim drove truck for Teamsters Union Local # 92 and was Baptist by faith.Surviving are his mother Bessie L. Call Martin and  sister Tanna Blanchard both of Glen St. Mary, FL; and two nephews Charles R. Blanchard III and Thomas A. Blanchard.Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home , Wintersville, on Monday from 5-8 p.m., where services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.,  with Dr. Rev. John Beard and Rev. Ralph Wingate officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
