James S. “Jim” Pratt, 65, of Wintersville, Ohio, died Friday, September 1, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born on September 19, 1951 the son of the late Orcie S. and Myrtle E. Williams Pratt. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his wife Janet Lynn Robinson Pratt. He retired from the Weirton Steel Co. as an operator in the tin mill and was a member of Jefferson Sportsman Club. He is survived by a daughter Jamie Lynn Pratt and a son Justin S. (Melea) Pratt both of Wintersville, grandson Gavin James Pratt and a sister Donna (Steve) Barksdale of South Carolina. Per Jim’s request, no services or visitation are planned. Burial will be private. Arrangements are entrusted with Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville.
