James R. Hagy, Jr., 96, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at Trinity West ER. He was born January 21, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan a son of the late James R. & Martha Jane Baker Hagy, Sr. Jim was retired from State of Ohio Banking Authority as a bank examiner and a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church; American Legion Post 557 and Mended Hearts. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Preceding Jim in death were his wife Mary Lillian Miller Hagy and brother William L. Hagy.
Jim is survived by his son James R. Hagy III; grandchildren James R. (Beth) Hagy IV, Bethanne Burkhart & Denise (Dan) Selway; and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Rev. Ronald Pritts.
Entombment at Fort Steuben.
Memorials may be directed to Covenant Presbyterian Church.
